GlobeSt.com EXCLUSIVE: Local & Out-of-Town Leaders to Meet at RealShare Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA-As more than 300 of the area's leading commercial real estate executives sign up for the half-day conference here, outside investors, aware of the region's relatively strong performance in tough times, are expected as well at the Feb. 27 event.

PHILADELPHIA-RealShare Philadelphia, a conference covering all aspects of the commercial real estate industry here and featuring presentations by its most influential players, will take place from 7:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue. Attendance is expected to approach 400 and include not only local-area executives, but also “outside investors who are discovering this market,” says Rich Kelley, director of New York-based Real Estate Media Inc.’s conference series.

Candid assessments of planned, but delayed, Center City office properties, a potential overcrowding of the multifamily market, and the fate of lagging suburban markets are highlights of the program. These and other pressing issues will be discussed in a town-hall style presentation led by a panel that includes Anthony Hayden of Beacon Commercial Real Estate, Brandywine’s Gerard Sweeney, Carl Dranoff of Dranoff Properties, Lewis Gantman of Kravco and Mike O’Neill of Preferred Real Estate Investments. The session will be moderated by GlobeSt.com national online editor John Salustri

Liberty Property Trust’s new CEO, William Hankowsky, will be interviewed by GlobeSt.com’s editor-in-chief, Michael Desiato, who holds the same post with Real Estate Forum magazine. Hankowsky will delve inside the real estate mind to discuss lessons learned and the intersection of life and business.
