"This building will allow us to be in operation very quickly, thereby serving our customers better," says Vidette CEO Tim Byland. "We're looking for our Roanoke Valley sales operation to set the standard for our other facilities around the country. We're extremely pleased with the opportunities this community offers us." Locating in Roanoke was not a foregone conclusion for the new company. But organizations including the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and the Roanoke Valley Economic Development Partnership convinced Vidette officials that Roanoke could easily meet its office space and workforce needs.
