NEW YORK CITY-Two telecommunications firms here are building a foothold in Tribeca, inking long-term deals for 55,000 sf at 32 Avenue of the Americas. The 27-story office tower, equipped with a high-tech infrastructure, picked up two divisions of Deutche Telecom–T-Systems and T-Mobile.

In separate leases, T-Systems took 40,000 sf and T-Mobile expanded its existing 25,000-sf lease at the property by an additional 15,000 sf. The building will now become the new headquarters for T-Systems, which is relocating from 280 Park Ave. T-Systems’ new space will also house a data center.
