ORLANDO-Terry Taylor, Florida’s largest Chrysler/Jeep dealer, has purchased an additional four acres in SouthPark where he plans to unveil his 280,000-sf showroom and three-story parking deck on an 11-acre spread in April.

Taylor paid Orlando Central Park Inc. $906,000 or $226,500 per acre ($5.20 per sf) for the land. That was less than half what he paid for the 6.55 acres he bought in late 2000 for $3.6 million or $549,618 per acre ($12.50 per sf)–premium prices, area land brokers tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity. J. Gary Castle of Orlando-based Castle Commercial Realty Inc., represented OCP in both transactions.
