Pace Drywall LLC bought the former 7,300-sf San Genero restaurant at 2196 Cheshire Bridge Road in Atlanta from Northland Association LP for $925,000. Mj Thorny Inc. purchased the 2,397-sf Rockin' Robs restaurant at 1479 Scott Boulevard in suburban Decatur, GA from Regal Partners LLC for $655,000.

Adrienne Adair handled the San Genero sale; Bob McDonald brokered the Rockin' Robs transaction. McDonald says the San Genero property is being renovated and expected to re-open March 10 as Taverna Plaka, an "upscale, authentic Greek restaurant that will feature belly dancers and plate throwing." The new owners are Yani Kasarhis and Ray Pace.

McDonald says the big selling point on the San Genero property was its "prime Intown location" with 6,200 sf of interior dining area and 1,100 sf of outside seating. The one-acre site has 68 parking spaces and strong signage and visibility, the broker says.
