Johnson joins Dallas-based Cencor from Glendale, CA-based PS Business Parks Inc., where she was responsible for its South Texas portfolio of 1.2 million sf of office and flex space. PS exited San Antonio last year when it sold its assets in the city, which is considered a non-core market.
Johnson has been in commercial real estate since 1989 when she joined the Powell Cos. as a division manager. She also worked for INTCO Investments of Texas Inc. as an area manager.
Cencor's retail projects in San Antonio include Fiesta Trail, which will be 600,000 sf upon completion, and the 234,000-sf Ingram Festival.
Also in San Antonio, Griffin Kelly has joined the Weitzman Group, Cencor's affiliate. Kelly will work in Weitzman's commercial retail division specializing in tenant representation and project representation.
Before joining Weitzman, Kelly was a partner with a San Antonio-based car wash operation. His real estate experience includes working with Trammell Crow Co.'s Austin office and as a land lease specialist with a Houston-based oil company.
