Debut of Three New Santana Row Stores

SAN JOSE, CA-Federal Realty Investment Trust celebrated the opening of three new stores at its $500-million Santana Row complex, which suffered extensive damages in an August 2002 fire.

SAN JOSE, CA-Six months after a massive fire destroyed the largest building of San Jose’s $500-million Santana Row complex, the newly remodeled structure has opened for business.

The August fire destroyed the development’s largest building containing 87,000-sf of retail and half the planned residential units. The remaining 450,000-sf of retail space, 255 residential units, and 214-room boutique hotel were not significantly affected and opened last fall.
