Eric DeJernett and Bryan McMurrey, a team with NAI Commercial Industrial Properties Co., is taking the reins from Austin-based Sayers & Associates. Calls were not returned by press time for comment about the assignment change for the center at 3801 Capital of Texas Highway, which is owned by the Mayfield Cos. of Austin.
Tenants include Northwest Hills Pharmacy, Koslow's Furs, Susan Dell's dress shop, Cycle 360, Thistle Cafe, Maudie's Milagro restaurant and First American Bank. Coming soon is the Salt Lick Restaurant. The center is situated one of Austin's high-income areas, where the average household income within a mile radius is about $292,000.
Competition for the center, which was built in the late 1990s, is building across Capital of Texas Highway. Hill Partners of Austin and Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co.'s Central Texas group are progressing with a retail center next to a planned office development.
