Metro Auto Express will move about a half mile from its present location at 3002 W. Windsor into a 55,000-sf industrial property at 2522 W. Holly under a lease with building owner, White Brothers Investments.

"They wanted to stay in the same area and expand their footage," Skip Corley Jr. with DAUM Commercial Real Estate tells GlobeSt.com. The single-story, grade-level property will provide the wholesale auto parts distributor with a truck well, 18- to 22-foot ceilings and about 800 sf of office space, said Corley, who along with co-broker Richard Sica, negotiated the deal for the Palm Springs, CA based building owner. Sica also represented the tenant in the transaction.

Metro Auto Express, based in Mesa, specializes in the sale of auto parts to small repair shops. It will share the building with Engine Supply, an automotive engine firm, which occupies about 23,000 sf of the property. About 14,000 sf still remains available for lease, Corley said.
