FBI Buys Last Land Parcel in Windsor Park

WOODLAWN, MD-In a $3.8-million deal, MIE Properties has sold off the last remaining land parcel at the 82-acre Windsor Corporate Park. The new land owner, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, will use the 10.5-acre plot for the home of its new field office. Currently Windsor Park, which consists of 500,000 sf of space spread out among 13 structures, is 95% leased to a bevy of government related tenants such as the Social Security Administration and the General Services Administration.

“We are pleased to close this deal and add the FBI to our growing list of government users at Windsor Corporate Park, says MIE president and CEO Edward A. St. John. FBI officials plan to erect a facility to replace its Rutherford Business Park field office location. The groundbreaking for the development is on target to take place on April 2.
