MBA Electronics has acquired a 20,537-sf building that features approximately 5,000-sf of office, dock and drive loading, and heavy power. The building is located at 40760 Encyclopedia Circle in Fremont.

"The motivation behind the purchase for MBA Electronics was to position itself in a location closer to the Silicon Valley," says Jesse Lucas, a principal at Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate in Pleasanton. "Given the slow-down in the Fremont market in the last year-and-a-half, MBA Electronics was able to capitalize on its continued steady succes and secure a newer R&D type facility that will allow for expansion and more efficient service to its Silicon Valley customers."

Lucas represented MBA electronics, while Chuck Taylor at CRESA Partners represented the seller, a private party.
