The new tenant, Fair, Isaac and Co., is the most recent firm to lease space at the project, known as Kilroy Center Del Mar. Having signed a seven-year lease to occupy the 3661 Valley Centre Dr. facility, the systems developer will join The Memec Group, which inked a 10-year lease for space here in October 2002. Fair, Isaac plans to relocate its regional headquarters to its new five-story building in August of this year.
Both Fair, Isaac's facility and The Memec Group's building were previously committed to software company Peregrine Systems Inc., which surrendered them to Kilroy in June 2002 after being hit with major financial difficulties. Peregrine has since been delisted from the Nasdaq National Market and filed a voluntary Chapter 11 petition.
