Murphy joins DPR from Centex Construction Co. and the Weitz Co., where he managed projects ranging from $7 million to $58 million. At DPR, he's currently working on an expansion and renovation of the Round Rock Medical Center and the renovation of a data center. Other projects in the Austin office's line-up include the upcoming expansion of the South Austin Hospital and several statewide projects for clients whose identifies are not being disclosed.

Redwood City, CA-based DPR works on projects such as corporate/speculative office, health care, entertainment, education, data and telecom facilities, biotechnology and pharmaceutical, and warehouse and distribution centers. The Austin office's clients have included HCA, Dell Computer Corp., Sun Microsystems, Motorola, University of Texas and the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
