Vocational Diagnostics signed the 63-month lease, valued at $294,758, with bulding owner, Grossman Co. Properties. The move into the 20-story, 282,000-sf high-rise at 3101 N. Central Ave. will be soon, Tyler Smith, with Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Phoenix office, tells GlobeSt.com.

"The tenant wanted a nicer, newer building and wanted to upgrade his space," Smith said of the firm's decision to move out of a building along 16th Street. The class B National Bank Plaza, built in 1981, has several legal and accounting firms among its tenants, he said.

Smith, Stephanie Hickock and Shawn Greenway, also with the Grubb & Ellis team, negotiated the lease for Vocational Diagnostics. Grossman Co. Properties was represented by John Cerchiai with Phoenix-based Lee & Associates Arizona.
