BWI Tech Park Signs First Tenant

LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD-Developer MIE Properties Inc.’s 97-acre BWI Technology Park has signed its first new tenant with specialty pharmacy IgG America’s recent leasing of about 7,500 sf of space in the park’s 72,000-sf flex/office building at 514 Progress Dr. With the lease, IgG America, which offers immune globulin services across the country, relocates its headquarters from another site in Linthicum. Terms of the lease agreement have not been disclosed.

Located off the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, BWI Tech Park is MIE’s sixth business park in the area. It will ultimately consist of 14 flex and warehouse structures accounting for a total of 600,000 sf. “BWI Tech Park has a great location with prime access to the Beltway, I-295 and BWI Airport,” IgG America president and CEO Fred Bargar says. “MIE allowed us the flexibility to build a brand new space that meets our needs. They provided a great design, delivered on schedule and will allow us to expand the space as we grow.”
