GlobeSt.com UPDATE: Glen Town Center Adds Seven More Tenants

GLENVIEW, IL-The Glen Town Center has signed seven more leases totaling 14,000 sf to round out the mix of retail and entertainment tenants for the project. Additional letters of intent have been signed for over 80% of the redevelopment of the former Naval Air Station for which this North Shore suburb has created the largest TIF district in the U.S.

GLENVIEW, IL-Seven new tenants, some unique to the Chicago area, have leased over 14,000 sf of space at The Glen Town Center, the retail, entertainment and mixed-use redevelopment of the former Naval Air Station in Glenview, a North Shore suburb of Chicago. Additional letters of intent have been signed for more than 80% of the entire project.

In addition to anchor tenants Borders, Von Maur, Galyan’s, Crown Theatres, Market Foods and Espresso Café, the following will take space at the new lifestyle center.

• Flight LLC will open a 1,800 sf wine bar just north of the theatres. It will feature a variety of wines and the occasional life jazz performances.
