In its renewal and expansion, the Richie Gueringer firm leased 6,117 sf, increasing its space from 3,900 sf. The firm moves from the fourth floor to the 17th. It has been a 100 Congress resident for about four years.

In the other deal, Hohmann, Taube & Summers added 2,567 sf to its office on the building's 16th floor. The firm has been at the 411,536-sf 100 Congress for more than a decade.

Michael Kennedy with Commercial Texas LLC represented the law firms. John Baird with Lincoln Property Co. negotiated for the building owner, Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. of New York City.

Kennedy tells GlobeSt.com that Richie Gueringer did some looking around at other buildings, but felt well-served by Baird and Metropolitan. "They did a tremendous job in the meeting their needs (of both law firms)," Kennedy says.
