"It's a great headquarters building," Peter Nieman, with Colliers International, tells GlobeSt.com of the 2610 E. University Ave. building. "It gave them enough space to satisfy their immediate needs and space for expansion."
The company, which operates about 18 eye clinics in Arizona, will move into its new headquarters June 1 following renovations to the interior. Nieman said the freestanding, two-story, garden-style building, which was built in 1989, will also give the company an identity it lacked before its offices were consolidated.
The deal was negotiated for both the tenant, Mesa-based Southwestern Eye Center Ltd., and building owner, Mesar LLC of Orlando, FL, by Nieman and Colliers International brokers Phil Breidenbach and Amy Whatley.
