NAI KLNB Brings to Properties to 100% Occupancy

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD-The demand for office space in the area has continued to thrive despite the souring economy, as evidenced by NAI KLNB Inc.’s recent completion of lease-ups at two different properties. The real estate services company brought the Hampton South Business Center to 100% occupancy with a deal with BIT Investments/AFL-CIO to occupy 17,500 sf at the 104,000-sf property. NAI KLNB also helped the five-story 50,000-sf building at 4201 Mitchellville Rd. reach maximum capacity by securing a lease from Mathis Prudential Realty for about 6,600 sf.

While the exact terms of the lease agreements are not being disclosed, NAI KLNB’s Alan Coppola tells GlobeSt.com that the leases are all for long-term stays of at least five years. At Hampton South Business Center, further construction is underway. “We are proceeding with our Phase II, which is a pad site that will have 64,000 sf of office and warehouse space,” Coppola says. That project is expected to reach completion within the next year-and-a-half.
