After his Web site drew 108,000 visitors and almost 3.6 million hits during the first month of 2003, O'Leary moved the start-up firm into 2,500 sf of office space in the Scottsdale Executive Suites Office Park at 6220 E. Thomas Rd. and doubled the company's workforce.

"We were just bursting at the seams in our last building," O'Leary tells GlobeSt.com of the 1,100 sf that the company occupied above a pizza parlor at Thomas and Hayden roads. "We shopped around aggressively but in the 11th hour, when we almost had a deal, I ran into someone from Lee & Associates and they were very aggressive about capturing our business."

That someone was Lee & Associates' Phoenix broker Adam Tolson, who found O'Leary just the right spot for his booming business Web site in a courtyard office complex along Thomas Road. "We liked the courtyard appeal of the building, the ability to absorb more space and the general structure of what they had to offer us," said O'Leary, who did not disclose the terms of the lease.

But with about 30 companies signing on to become members of every day, it may not be long before the firm moves again. O'Leary said he expects to fulfill a dream of constructing his own building for the company within the next two or three years. "The neat thing," he said, "is that it may not just be a fantasy anymore.
