The firm also took NAIOP's build-to-suit building of the year award for the 150,000-sf Discount Tire national headquarters campus in Scottsdale. The honors follow two other industry awards given to Opus West so far in the first quarter. The City of Glendale named Opus West as development partner of the year for the 75,000-sf Talavi Spectrum office building located near 59th Avenue and Bell Road while the American Subcontractors Association of Arizona gave it an excellence in construction/public project of the year for the ADEQ building on Phoenix's Capitol Mall.
"These awards signify that we've accomplished our goals and each honor is greatly valued by the Opus West team," said Opus West president and CEO Thomas W. Roberts.
