Owner/operator Continuing Life Communities LLC has established a volunteer advisory board at La Costa Glen Carlsbad, which will act as a liaison between the tenants and the community's management staff. Known as the Resident Council, the seven-member board is comprised of residents Lois DeGroot, Julie Heard, Dan May, Solon Palmer, Milton Posovsky, Roland Rieve and William Straw. With meetings to be held on a monthly basis, the board will work directly with the management staff to voice the opinions of the community's occupants. "With more than 300 residents now living at La Costa Glen Carlsbad, it's very important that our residents have the opportunity to share their opinions and insights on a variety of issues, from food and beverage service to activities and amenities," says Rick Aschenbrenner, Continuing Life's CEO.
Located at 1940 Levante St. in Carlsbad, La Costa Glen's first phase consists of 54 two- and three-bedroom villas and 259 apartment homes situated on 25 acres in a park-like preserve. In addition, the project features a clubhouse, recreational center, putting green, croquet and bocce ball courts, horseshoe pit, lake, koi pond, gardens, walking trails and 200 acres of dedicated natural space.
