McCann was named COO of Weston in 1997. "Pat has led our employees brilliantly to accomplish the significant performance turnaround we've experienced over the past five years," Robertson said. "These changes in executive responsibility will assure an orderly and seamless leadership succession," he added.

Weston was founded in 1957 and became a private employee-ownership company in 2001. It specializes in environmental remediation, redevelopment and ongoing management and compliance at corporate and government facilities. It has 60 offices worldwide and operates on all continents.

Among the current Weston projects in the U.S. are a $1.1-billion architectural and engineering contract with the Air Force, a $120-million contract for remediation services at Navy and Marine Corps installations, and a $10-million environmental services project at two U.S. Postal Service facilities.
