The addition will give the company the ability to greater serve Target Corp., which--along with Wal-Mart and Heineken--is one of Hudd's clients. Speaking to GlobeSt.com, Hudd spokesperson Kara Heinrich says construction will wrap up by the end of this July. "Hudd Distribution Services has an established international reputation for excellence in providing distribution services to its clients," Chesapeake Mayor William E. Ward says in a prepared statement. "The Port of Virginia is vital to the continued economic success of Hampton Roads, and the expanded presence of such companies as Hudd and Maersk reinforces this region's position as the premier logistics center on the East Coast."
