Outdoor Retailer to Open 83,000-SF Store in Pennsylvania

WASHINGTON, PA-Gander Mountain of Bloomington, MN has signed a lease with Crown American Realty Trust to locate their superstore concept here in the former Ames Department Store space at Washington Crown Center.

WASHINGTON, PA-Outdoor retailer Gander Mountain of Bloomington, Minn. will open one of its superstores here at Washington Crown Center, a 670,000-sf regional shopping center located about 30 miles southwest of Pittsburgh on Interstate 70 at U.S. Route 40.

The center is owned by Crown American Realty Trust and anchored by Kaufmann’s, The Bon-Ton, Sears and Hollywood Theaters. The 83,000-sf Gander Mountain store will be located in the former Ames Department Store space. Work is expected to begin in April and be completed for a late summer opening.
