MIAMI-Thiel Logistics, an international logistics provider based in Germany, has signed an 85,424-sf lease establishing its U.S. headquarters in the Airport/West area of Miami-Dade County. With this lease, the company entered the US market.

Thiel Logistics USA Inc. recently occupied a class A warehouse/distribution facility at 3200 NW 112th Ave. in Beacon Industrial Park. AMB Property Corp. owns the freestanding building.

The value of the lease was not disclosed. However, based on the average rental rate of $7.06 per sf for warehouse/distribution space in the Airport West submarket according to Cushman & Wakefield’s year-end 2002 report, the mid-term lease has an estimated value of $1.8 million to $2.4 million.
