CRA Honors City Heights Urban Village Project

SAN DIEGO, CA-The California Redevelopment Association bestows a 2003 award of excellence on the city's redevelopment agency for its City Heights Urban Village Redevelopment Project.

SAN DIEGO, CA-The California Redevelopment Association has recently bestowed a 2003 award of excellence on the San Diego Redevelopment Agency for its work on the City Heights Urban Village Redevelopment Project.

The project, which is already partially completed, is being built by a partnership that includes the city’s redevelopment agency, the city itself, the San Diego Foundation, CityLink Investment Corp. and Price Charities. As a result of the partnership’s concerted effort, the core of the City Heights community is being transformed into a pedestrian-friendly town square.
