Eastbourne Investments Ltd. purchased the land at the northeast corner of 67th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road from Ron McRea with the McRea Group of Cos. and is marketing the parcel for use as a retail center.

Frank Egan with Eastbourne Investments tells GlobeSt.com that the farmland, which has been rezoned for commercial use, attracted the interest of the investment group because it is located in a rapidly expanding residential area that currently has few nearby retail amenities."This is one of the last pieces of land at that intersection," Randy Titzck, with Hogan and Associates of Tempe, who brokered the deal for both parties tells GlobeSt.com.

Egan said several developers have already expressed interest in the parcel but no deals have yet been set.
