Garrick Aug. Worldwide Ltd.'s vice chairman Faith Hope Consolo and managing director Joseph A. Aquino represented both the building owner and the tenant in the transaction. Asking rents for the space were $300 per sf, Consolo tells GlobeSt.com. The lease is for the next 10 years.
Set between 74th and 75th streets, the store is located on the ground floor of a five-story building. Another 1,000 sf was leased on the third floor to house flora and henri's corporate offices, says Consolo.
The European-made clothing retailer will join similar high-end children's stores in the area like Oilily, Jacadi, Au Chat Botte, Bonpoint and Catimini, Consolo states. The new flora and henri is set to debut by this summer.
