Tenant's $5.1M Buys Industrial Project

PHOENIX-Deer Valley Unified School District will use the two-building, 89,595-sf project as its printing plant plus provide some extra warehouse space. The district gets some tenants in the take-over, but they will be gone in about a year.

PHOENIX-Deer Valley Unified School District has acquired the Anocona Skypark in a $5.1-million sale that bought two general industrial buildings for warehouse, printing and commissary operations.

“The location was superb to service the entire district,” Tom Atkinson, with Grubb & Ellis Co.’s Phoenix industrial group, tells GlobeSt.com of the 2031 and 2032 W. Melinda property. Atkinson said it took about three months to find a property that met the school district’s needs. The property is comprised of two single-story, tilt-construction buildings containing a total of 89,595 sf.
