Beginning April 2004, the firm will occupy floors 18 through 23, along with a portion of the ninth story, in this Time Square building between 45th and 46th streets. Julien J. Stuley Inc. represented Pillsbury in the 15-year lease transaction. The building owner, Bertelsmann, was repped by Insignia/ESG. Pillsbury Winthrop was formed in 2001 after a merger between Pillsbury Madison & Sutro LLP and Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam and Roberts.
In addition to Insignia vice chairman Michael R. Laginestra, executive managing director Michael Geoghegan and portfolio manager Paul Allegretti of the property management group, worked on the Insignia team. Studley chairman Mitchell Steir, along with Michael Colacino, Matthew Barlow and David Goldstein acted for the law firm.
