"This is the first time NCHS has occupied a building designed to match our work and our mission: monitoring the nation's health," says NCHS Director Edward J. Sondik. "We are especially pleased that security--essential to our work--has been upgraded in this new facility. This new physical space will safeguard the confidential health information that NCHS collects and analyzes."

Located in Prince George's County across the street from the Hyattsville Metro station, the NCHS headquarters structure is part of University Town Center's office phase, which will ultimately consist of 1.1 million sf. Other facets of the development to follow the office segment are a 150,000-sf retail area and 1,800 apartment dwelling units.
