Aside from demolition services, San Diego-based Burger Construction is providing pad preparation and ground-up construction on the project, which is slated to rise at 3332 Greyling Dr. The new store, which is expected to open on September 1, 2003 will encompass 14,696 sf.
Sav-On Drugs will replace Henry's Marketplace, which closed last August, as the anchor tenant in the Serra Mesa retail complex. Albertson's Inc., which owns Sav-On, inked a 25-year, $5-million ground lease in October of 2002 for space in the shopping center.
