Located at 40405 Winchester Rd., the shopping complex dates back to 1998. Tenants here include Ralphs and Long Drugs, which acquired 81,465 sf here last year, as well as an auto repair shop, a medical and dental plaza and a childcare facility.

Bill Barnett and Doug Hogan acted on behalf of Symphony Development, which plans to hold its 7,075-sf portion of the center as an investment. The seller, Winchester Meadows LLC, was represented by Mark Esbensen and Fred Grimes of Westmar Commercial Real Estate.

Inland Empire retail properties are gaining in popularity among local commercial real estate investors, as this type of product is steadily increasing in value throughout both Riverside and San Bernardino counties. With the influx of white-collar professionals to the area, investors are beginning to see the opportunities to be found here in retail, multifamily and office product.
