Kumelski, a Phoenix broker with Dallas-based Trammell Crow for about 18 months, was selected for the national position by the ICSC's state director as well as several brokerage peers. He is one of 10 selected nationwide and one of two brokers picked to represent the western region on the advisory board.
Kumelski's duties will include responsibility for collaborating on efforts to educate new brokers and develop programs that will help them to better serve their customers. Kumelski was on ICSC's Deal Making Committee for four years and a co-chairman for the Deal Making Committee for one year.
Next Generation Program board members will hold its first meeting April 22 in New York City. The program will be unveiled at the ICSC national convention, scheduled for May in Las Vegas. About 60,000 people are expected to attend that convention with 600 enrolled in the Next Generation Program portion of the conference.
