The Causeway Plaza, located at 12101 Biscayne Blvd. in North Miami, sold for $14.85 million. The 142,000-sf property, finished in 1970, sits on more than eight acres of land. Anchor and credit tenants include Office Max, Walgreens, Dennys, Burger King and Radio Shack.

Biscayne 162 Plaza from, located at 16295 Biscayne Blvd. in North Miami Beach, sold for $3 million. The plaza contains nearly 20,000 sf of rentable strip retail space finished in 1996 on more than 1.5 acres of land.

Ezra Sheero is president of both selling corporations. Raanan Katz, who owns several shopping centers in Sunny Isles Beach, FL, and elsewhere in South Florida, as well as part of the Miami Heat NBA team, is president of the purchasing entities.

Bard Brenner of Sam Brenner Inc. in Miami procured the buyers, and Mario Borda of Real Estate Transactions Inc. in Miami Beach negotiated for the sellers. Attorney Barry Shevlin of Bay Harbor Islands represented the purchaser.
