On behalf of the Social Security Administration, the General Services Administration pre-leased the building for an undisclosed fee. About 800 employees will ultimately call the new class A office structure home while the local SSA office undergoes its own renovation.

"Our team transformed what was in essence a large, unimproved retail box into a modern class A office building, complete with the latest amenities and services," says NAI KLNB Management Inc.'s president Tim Hearn.

NAI KLNB handled the lease deal on behalf of the property owner. "The challenge was exacerbated by the harsh weather conditions of this winter and the unforgiving time period that we were operating in," Hearn adds. "In a perfect world, we would like to have ten months to undertake this complicated assignment."
