WOODLAWN, MD-After just five months of construction activity, developers have wrapped up the $8.5 million redevelopment of the one-time Sam’s Club Warehouse Shopping Club at 1718 Woodlawn Dr. The former retail store is now a 140,000-sf office structure.

On behalf of the Social Security Administration, the General Services Administration pre-leased the building for an undisclosed fee. About 800 employees will ultimately call the new class A office structure home while the local SSA office undergoes its own renovation.
