Commercial Real Estate to See an Upswing in 2003: Study Says

ARLINGTON, VA-Corporate Facility Advisors International has released results of a poll of commercial real estate firms on what the economy will bring to the industry this year. About 50% of those surveyed from across the country predict a positive change in the commercial real estate business in 2003, while 40% expect market business to neither improve nor grow worse, but to stay at the level of activity seen in 2002.

“Our market analysis reveals that in the eyes of our professionals in the commercial real estate industry the cup is half full and half empty in 2003,” CORFAC president Robert Porter Jr. says. “While the consensus is that the overall industry will eventually rebound in 2003, the recovery will be slow and tempered.”
