In the 15,220-sf Nicholson House, Henderson agreed new 20-year lease with the Audit Commission at £220,690 per annum. And in the 21,320-sf Westwood House, previously occupied by the NHS, Henderson took a surrender from the head tenant, Scottish and Newcastle, and subsequently re-let to the Audit Commission on a 20 year lease at a yearly rental of £309,198.
Lambert Smith Hampton advised Henderson throughout. Office agent Peter Musgrove said: "We are extremely pleased with the result achieved, having maximised value by renewing leases to a government covenant, higher rent and on a longer term".
