The law firm will take the entire 52,375-sf facility that stands at 3579 Valley Centre Dr. in the 20-acre Kilroy Centre Del Mar campus. Its lease term will begin when tenant improvements are complete, which is scheduled for September 2003.

Meanwhile, the company is currently occupying another Kilroy-owned property, which is also located in Del Mar. The facility, which stands at 12390 El Camino Real, encompasses 72,332 sf. Paul, Hastings is leasing the facility on an interim basis, as the contract will terminate when the Kilroy Centre space is ready for occupancy. The commencement of the temporary lease is retroactive back to February 1, 2003, which is when prior tenant Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison defaulted on its agreement.

When Paul, Hastings moves into its Kilroy Centre offices later this year, it will join current tenant The Memec Group, which relocated its global headquarters here last month, and Fair Isaac and Co., which is expected to arrive this August. The Memec Group occupies the 115,000-sf building that stands at 3721 Valley Centre Dr., while Fair, Isaac and Co. will move its operations into the 129,752-sf facility located at 3661 Valley Centre Dr.
