Aberg was tapped from Lee & Associates' Newport Beach office, where he served as a commercial real estate agent. He was named as the top producing agent there in 2002, having completed the most transactions in that office.

Prior to joining BRE Commercial, Zolezzi worked as vice president for the Asset Management Group, a division of Collins Development Co., and also owned his own real estate brokerage and asset management company. During the course of his career he has completed more than 800 real estate leasing and sales transactions worth more than $115 million combined.

The addition of Aberg and Zolezz mark the latest additions to BRE Commercial's San Diego presence, as the locally based firm has been noticeably increasing its strength here since last year. In 2002, the company hired several top-performing brokers, including president/CEO John Frager, away from national firms like CB Richard Ellis and Grubb & Ellis. Then in February, the company merged with A.W. Arendsee, a six-person firm with a very strong foothold in the Downtown San Diego office market. With offices in Carlsbad, UTC and Downtown San Diego, BRE Commercial currently represents approximately 29.5 million sf of industrial, office and retail properties throughout the region.
