Plans call for the Orjazzum nightclub to have world-class entertainment and DJs, and it is expected to open by May 30. This new lease will be the restaurant group's entry into South Beach.
ORJAZZUM LLC is a limited liability corporation owned by Ken Mata and partners. The same group also recently leased an 8,000-sf restaurant space at 4285 W. Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach, FL for the Boomerang Steakhouse and Lounge. Mata also owns other restaurants in South Florida, including Bellisimo in West Palm Beach and Valentino's in Coconut Grove.
Athan Prakas, president/broker of The Prakas Group Inc. of Boca Raton, FL represented both ORJAZZUM LLC and the property owner, 631-681 Washington Ave. Inc., in the transaction.
