The office condo is located at 24041 S. Tamiami Trail, (U.S. Highway 41) on the first floor of the three-story Colony Plaza professional complex. Keystone, which originally was going to occupy the building, has changed its business plan and now plans to lease half the space and re-sell the other half, Rebecca D. Andrews, a broker involved in the transaction, tells GlobeSt.com.
Negotiations are under way with a big national financial company to lease 6,000 sf there, Andrews says. The remaining 6,000 sf possibly will be resold to a women's clothing retailer, she adds.
"Sanibel Steakhouse is right there too, so we have a nice retail base," she says.
Andrews, director of the Bonita Springs division of Grubb & Ellis VIP, represented Colony Plaza LLC, and Paula Davis with Keystone Custom Homes represented Keystone Commercial LLC in the sale.
