The formal seller was Fund I and Fund II Tucker Associates, a Georgia joint venture partnership between Wells Real Estate Fund I and Fund II/Fund II-OW. Wells developed the retail property in 1986. Among the strong-drawing restaurant tenants are Moe's Southwestern Grill and Aldo's.

Scott Meadows, Wells' senior vice president of real estate operations, calls Heritage Place "one of the best retail sites in the Tucker area." Because of the property's location, Wells was "able to sell the asset for a price that was favorable to all the parties involved," Meadows says.
