Five Leases Close at Airport Corporate Center

MIAMI-The five include both new deals and renewals for class A and B office space at the one-million-sf-plus business park here. The leases total 26,136 sf and are worth a combined $675,000.

MIAMI-Five leases totaling 26,136 sf have been signed recently at Airport Corporate Center here. The leases, for class A and B office space in the Airport/West Dade submarket, have a combined value of $675,000.

Among the deals was Safeco Life Insurance Co., which renewed its 17,124-sf lease for class A space. This short-term lease is for the 7300 Building. Insignia/ESG brokers Tony Puente, Richard Bamonte and Janette Sanchez, all associate directors, represented the property owner, Miami RPFIV Airport Corporate Center Associates LLC, in the transaction.

Also in the 7300 Building, Fortis Benefits Insurance Co. renewed its 3,608-sf, class A office lease for a term of five years. Puente, Bamonte and Sanchez represented Miami RPFIV Airport Corporate Center Associates LLC in the deal. Felicia Refienburgh of Stiles Realty Co. represented Fortis Benefits Insurance Co.
