Demolition Begins on Planned Condo Tower Site

MIAMI-Demolition has begun to make room for 6000 Indian Creek, a $27 million, 25-story, ultra-luxury condominium tower planned for Miami Beach. A two-story building, which formerly housed St. Francis Hospital nurses, is being demolished on the site–the last Intracoastal parcel along the city’s Millionaires’ Row.

The 6000 Indian Creek project is being developed by BSG Development Corp. BSG Development principals include architects Charles Sieger and Jose Suarez of The Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership; Ronald Bloomberg, president of Centaur Realty Organization, a Miami Beach real estate investment and brokerage firm; and general contractor Ronald Gaines of GS2 Corp., a Sieger Suarez construction management affiliate.

This is the first project that Sieger and Suarez are jointly developing as well as designing. The project will consist of no more than 35 units on a three-quarter-acre site. The glass-enclosed, inverted elliptical tower will have one to two units on each floor. Residences on half a floor will feature two bedrooms and 2.5 baths totaling 1,300 sf, while full-floor homes will have three bedrooms and 3.5 baths and total 2,800 sf.
