CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA-The principals of ABI Automotive Bearings, a warehouse operator and distributor of automotive bearings, have acquired a 28,000-sf building at 1361 Marion Court for $2.1 million, according to Daum Commercial Real Estate Services.

David Muir of Daum's Los Angeles office and Bob Dipre of the firm's City of Industry office represented the buyer, Hal Lassman, president of ABI. The new company headquarters building, which fronts the Pomona Freeway, consolidates two Downtown Los Angeles facilities for ABI. The firm is expected to move into the building this week and will employ approximately 15 workers at the location.

The seller of the Marion Court building was PS Business Parks, a real estate subsidiary of Glendale-based Public Storage, which was represented by Pat Bogan of Insignia/ESG's Diamond Bar office.

ABI's new headquarters is a freestanding, concrete tilt-up structure in a business park environment. It features dock-high loading and a warehouse area with 22-foot clearance.
