Mariner has signed a seven-year, 46,776-sf renewal lease with an estimated value of $7.5 million, or about $23 per sf. Mariner is adding another floor to its existing space in Ravinia.

Susan Arledge and Van Power of Arledge/Power Real Estate Group of Dallas negotiated for Mariner. Arledge says the tenant chose Atlanta for its "excellent labor force and a location that was central to most employees." Brian Eichenseer and Scott Martin of Houston-based Hines represented the property owner, DIFA, a Germany-based investment company.

Mariner, one of the nation's largest operators of long-term care and assisted living centers, operates long-term acute care hospitals and assisted centers in 24 states, with a staff of 275 at its headquarters location in Atlanta.
