Stein Mart is in the bottom floor of the 30-year-old former Jacobson's department store building. Equity One of North Miami Beach owns and manages the center. The real estate investment trust is finishing additional renovations at the center, which will include adding office space and expanding the mall's retail space onto part of the parking lot.
The Stein Mart renovations were part of a $3.5-million redevelopment of Oakbrook Square that also included demolishing a 10,000-sf building, building a parking lot and building a 6,000-sf outparcel facing US 1.
